Aug. 9th, 2006 11:40 pmTip of the day: when buying textbooks used, they may show signs of 'wear' or 'use'. Or 'markings' which identify that the book was previously owned by someone else. Do not be alarmed, these phenomena are considered normal and may even indicate that the book in question could actually be useful for something. Use of a book in such condition will not degrade your social status, ruin your learning experience, or rip open holes to other dimensions thereby permitting paranormal beings to slowly feed on your happiness while you dream about little fluffy clouds.
But most of all: please don't act all irrational and angry and viciously demand a refund. It's really annoying.
