If you like pretty things and like anime, or like pretty things and dont mind anime, or if you like pretty things and dont like anime (but are open-minded) then you might enjoy Beyond the Clouds, The Promised Place (Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho). The fansub was released a few days ago by the-triad(.org) and I was just kind of browsing around today and it sounded interesting so I decided to download it and I have to say I'm pretty amazed.. it was.. one of the best things I've seen... the story and character design was done by the same person who made Hoshi no Koe (except he made that by himself and this is an hour and a half long). I'll probably end up buying this too just because its something thats actually worth it.. has.. kind of a timeless feel to it... I'm just glad the ending is the way it is :) I hope someone else out there that I know will watch it and like it so I can have somone to talk to about it
