So it looks like despite being a technologist, I tend to be a pretty late adopter of new trends in software. Got in pretty early for facebook, but I'm jumping on most of the rest of the Web 2.0-ish social bits pretty late. Now twittering, same as LJ username. Have it linked to my facebook status.

Eventually I'd like to build some sort of main aggregator as part of my plan for my giant personal website project that would collect basically everything I write on the web everywhere into one place, categorized. Probably would use all the fancy semantic web stuff now that I've been somewhat forced to delve into that for my thesis work. I can pioneer web 3.0 to make up for my late arrival to web 2.0? I think a whole half of the people out there think the semantic web will never come to fruition. Most of the rest of the other half doesn't care. Once we get AI to be super amazing, only then will the full original vision of the semantic web be completely realizeable. Oh well. I should probably leave soon , since I'm currently at a rest stop on the thruway because it was snowing kinda crazy before. Not too bad right now.
