Two unrelated random notes:

1) CLAMP in wonderland 2 is indeed awesome.

2) The Dreaming is indeed basically slightly less industrial Stabbing Westward. This would have been more important to me a while ago when I was more emo and was sad about Stabbing Westward having disbanded, but it's still kind of neat. Took them 4 years to get this album out.
Edit: Chris Hall can still sing for sure. Not so much for Eddie Vedder and (rather unfortunately) Chris Cornell, but they've done like 10 more world tours, and I think they're a little older; and I'd opt to say smoked a whole lot more. The drum mix is weird on the The Dreaming album though, mostly cymbals sound like they were compressed into horribleness, which is odd because everything else sounds pretty reasonable. Although I understand that not everything can have as amazing production as Darkest Days did, multiple consecutive crash hits should not sound like overpowering distorting white noise.

But yeah, if you happen to like... anger-industri-emo then The Dreaming is probably something you want to look into. Like Stabbing Westward, it's much more outward anger than "oh noes she left me so sad" kind of emoishness (although they have songs about that, they're just not whiny). The actual music is also of a higher degree than most other music that ends up in this category. Generally, if you've ever liked Stabbing Westward, you'll like this, long as you don't mind the lack of the extra electronic layers that the more industrial side of SW ended up adding.
