have had work and done alot of procrastinating and have a test tommorrow which i really should have been studying for the last two hours for.. but yeah.. I got the machinae supremacy cd (deus ex machinae) and everyone else should too because theyre good its up to us the fans to support them.. not only are they good but theyre geek in an inconspicuous way.. its geekly ambiguous.. first of all almost every song involves sounds from the sidstation synthesizer which is actually based off the soundchip from the commodore 64.. theyve played covers of C64 game music.. they have a song inspired by serial experiments lain.. and almost every one of the songs on the new cd is inspired by games.. however its not totally obvious and I think that anyone into hard/prog rock/metal who isnt quite as 1337 would find enjoyment in it also.. which I think is another thing great about it.. but with songs such as 'flagcarrier' and 'player one' those of us who get the gaming references i think get a warm fuzzy feeling.. www.machinaesupremacy.com sorry bout the plug but I couldnt resist..
