working on lab report. listening to the shoutcast radio stream from anime academy.. which last night had some interesting commentary and involved the guy singing along to one of the songs which was funny... he's not on tonight.. last few songs have been j-pop.. i still prefer J-pop to american pop because at least i cant hear what theyre saying but j-rock is better. specifically the pillows. or music from an anime series because then if somone comes in and asks 'what the hell are you listening to' theres at least something you can defend it with like "well its from an anime series" instead of something like "umm hmm uhh its music. in japanese" i dont know.. anyway yeah.. a few days ago i finally worked a bit more on the cafe press site, most of which involved about an hour of trying to resize a picture to just the perfect size to fit on the cd.. so yeah.. the five feet deep cd
http://www.cafeshops.com/fivefeetdeep yay.. i ordered it for myself to see if the printing it ok and if the audio quality is ok (since i uploaded mp3s) but chances are even if i sent them the master disc they'd convert it to mp3 anyway, and they were all in 160kbps i think it should be fine.. 'along the way' is a damn good song.. sometimes ill just loop it for like 45 minutes.. its kind of addictive.. and we're going to practice and recored/re-record more over the next big break we have because playing music is fun and i havent had a chance to do it here and its getting annoying and i need to! I think every moment thats not spent with jessie or with lan party (if we have it) during the break in a few weeks is going to be spent practicing because i didnt practice enough before and now i cant practice at all.. so yeah im going to go nuts with it and seriously make everyone in the house deaf but oh well.. somones trying to organize an RIT 'drumline' thinger here and even though its the marching kind of thing and ive never done that before, heck if its something that'll make a cool sound when i hit it with a stick i'll join. i just kind of sent the guy an email and he said there would be some sort of competition thing somewhere so thats neat, the posiblility of being able to win something by being involved with something that makes a cool sound when you hit it with a stick, thats even better.
