hello! I had more of something to say earlier but i think i forgot it by now.. its 9:30 i had chemistry at 8. Chemistry yesterday was the first time i'd been on time for a class so far.. yay! and i was on time for bio yesterday too. being late doesnt really matter though theres only 1 class im actually required to goto and thats once a week.. but im going to all the classes anyway since thats what we're paying all this money for.. i now have 5 jessie-pics up on the wall-ish thing to the left of me.. w00t for jessie-ness :) and hyphenation. Last night the nnetwork connection on the desktop (this computer, the big black thing) kinda randomly dropped while i was watching the inu yasha dvd i borrowed from the rit anime club library. I was at first afraid that it was because of my download habit (60gb since i got here.. suprnova..) but i started hearing other people on the floor screaming 'wheres the internet' and a few hours later a bunch of people were out in the hall just kind of yelling for the sake of creating general havoc which as long as its nondestructive is always fun... umm so yeah i booted the laptop since i figured it wouldnt have ben affected since its a different mac address (media access control, the hardware address of network cards and such equipment which here is used to track computers and ip address assignments) so i switched to the laptop for a while and eventually it went out there too and for a while the server wasnt even assigning an ip address to the computers but some people on the floor stil had acces the whole time so the server wasnt just down but we were being prevented from accessing the dhcp server so i just kind of kept doing ipconfig/renew every few minutes and eventually got an ip address for the laptop again and it was a little while after i got an address for the desktop again and everything worked again.. so yeah i already had chem today.. just finished my chai. they actually bre the tea you have to stand there 5 minutes while they brew it so you know its real and real is good since real has less calories and junk in it. and if anyone knows what happened to the panasonic camcorder from school please bring it back. and the tripod. and if andrew spollett still has that GL-1 someone please tie him down and whip him for me... he was also involved in the loss of the elura as well (although theres no clear answer on that one). so yeah.. since i dont want all this to be the end of video at wooster. ALthough im not in any media classes here (although i'd like to be) ive heard you can borrow cameras from them.. but you also have to put down a deposit or something.. if we do that at wooster and keep them locked up for anthing other than special events and keep a real list of who has them and their contact info (and say hey we cant give you that money back if youve got this thing for more than a week) than we will be able to keep the cameras in possesion at wooster and they will be there when we need them for special events and it will still be possible for students to make use of them.. sure its not quite as nice as being able to take them wherever you want but hey its better than no cameras (or video class) at all.. i still say 'we' because to me im still at wooster. and because i feel like im still partially responsible for the equipment.. if any one knows whats going to happen as far as equipment in the theater please keep me informed.. argh i hope i get to see the performances they sound like theyre going to be good this year.. bah.
