its strange, everytime ive tried to make oatmeal while here so far i use too much water and it's all soupy... never had a problem at home.

i generally put too much water in cause i don't measure :P they have pathetically small bowls at school too...so i use the packaged kind..and 2 packs just does not fit in the bowls here. :P and then i burn myself.

you use instant oatmeal? that stuff is teh r0xx0rz, j0, :D. make 2 packets at a time - i like the apple cinnamon + maple-brown-sugar combination, myself.

as for your water problem, only put a little in a time, mix, then add more as needed. it works wonders, :3.
