Ok, drove back to CT fairly uneventfully, with the exception of having stopped at a starbucks in a rest stop for a few minutes, and found that they now have a honey latte. This is at least minimally significant because I ended up becoming somewhat fond of Tully's Coffee from the one time I stopped there on the last day we were in Japan... and got a Honey Milk latte, which I at that moment determined was the most tasty coffee-based drink that I had encountered. Was also kinda sad that I hadn't stopped in there before, since there was a Tully's near the first hotel we had stayed at in Tokyo too.

So anyway, Tully's Honey Milk Latte is quite good. Starbucks' maintains somewhat of what seems to be kind of a tradition of things being decent but not really tasting how you'd expect them to be or what the name would imply. I didn't really taste much honey, much more of a few spices. If it was tea-based instead of coffee based, I would say that it's more like what their chai latte actually should be (less sugar, more spice). I think with some more honey, it'd be about right, but I really like honey.
