(no subject)

at school. there is actually a bunch of people here who actually know me as 'ibmman' and dont know my real name which is kind of funny... someone came up behind me and was like "hey youre ibmman"... yay for lan parties. pasha is up here to now and it seems like he's been a little bored since classes started but there will be more stuff to do in a few weeks once clubs get started and such.. and life here is really what you want to make of it, theres plenty of things to do if youre creative or make an effort, and i dont really think it would be really much different anywhere else... maybe some places have more stuff going on but i dont see any of the schools that most people would thnk are 'competing' with this place as being any better in that respect, especially WPI or RPI which are also focused on engineering and built predominantly of brick. oh well. im finding it difficult to think about things in a school-like fashion again, as well as remembering everything we should have 'learned' so far... like going to think about things and all there is is fuzz which is somewhat annoying and i actually forget if i ever really made it out of the fuzziness last year, it just keeps feeling as if i cant learn anymore sometimes and its hard to tell if thats true or not or what i could do about it, and alot of it is probably a nervous or intimidation thing because i dont think ive really stopped thinking about how much more intelligent alot of the people here have to be to do well in things like computer engineering and such, or even brian saying that calculus is easy when i found precalc hard the first two times. and still dont get trig. but ill stop now because i dont really want to complain, and ill blame the complainyness on the weather right now. silly weather.
