(no subject)

been mixing audio for the new recordings and stuff... maybe this time people other than us will listen to it, especially since we're putting in alot of work into it given the time fram we have, which is to finish it by like today. the recording quality is much better than before, and since we can pan stuff now because of all the extra channels we can record at once thanks to the Layla (Echo Audio Layla 2496) we can pan stuff and make it sound a bit more dynamic. The bass drum sounded better last year though (we tried moving the mic farther out this time) and although the snare sounds good its not cutting through the mix as much in what we already mixed down so if we get a chance at some point that will get re-EQ'd but we should just finish everything else first just so at least we'll have all the songs somewhat mixed. I'm actually planning somewhat of a small ad campaign at school maybe consistsing of a small postery thing and some cds taped to a wall like a band did last year.. I garuantee i'll be able to find a song or two on the direct connect hub after that if anyone likes it. I really hope i can see jessie a few more times before i leave, ill probably be going to the senior work day thing to help out in a few days. I'm also trying to get to 9 years of CPU time in united devices since then i will have had 1 whole year of cpu time in 1 summer.... which is awesome but i really dont want to think of how much energy ive wasted since then it wouldnt be quite as awesome anymore
