(no subject)

i had this pretty weird dream that I somehow was selected to play bass for blue oyster cult at a concert at the ives center when their bassist was sick or something.. and even though i couldnt play anything they didnt say anything against that so i had no idea what was really going on and was just playing random notes.. and for some reason there were alot of people on the stage and during the encore break they closed the curtains (and there are no curtains at the ives center) and suddenly there were all these chairs on the stage and they had a press conference for a few minutes during that i went into this room on the back of the stage to look for something, came out again and although the curtains were open and stuff no one was playing anything so i asked what happened and they said the PA system was somehow translating everything they said into spanish and that the audio people didnt know what they were doing. and then it started raining so the crowd left and i went back to that room thing at the back of the stage which after a few minutes started moving and then brian was there somehow and we figured out that maybe it was some sort of equipment trailer and we found this big twisty staircase thing that was like 25 feet tall and wondered how it could be an equipment trailer.. and we were wondering how to get out of the thing.. found an emergency exit and went out that when it stopped somewhere and ended up coming out by the end of wolfpits road down here by sunset hill.. but the only vehicle we saw moving away was a dodge neon. there were police around and stuff so we talked to them but i dont remember anything else... had another weird dream the day before that i was this japanese guy at a Yani concert and I was back stage for some reason and ended up switching bodies with Yani somehow.. and i could play piano and guitar (yani doesnt play guitar..) and i was singing but whenever i didnt sing right the voice trainer came up and asked what was going wrong.. and then when i went backstage i saw my real self and i was like "weird im japanese!" and i dont remember too much more than that.. i think all that is probably a combination of playing music and going to sleep much later than i usually would..
