hi peoples again. got back from chem lab a little while ago... i think i probably ended up with with the best percent of Cu recovery of our class.. but it also took me like an hour longer to finish than everyone else.. but the end justitifes the means in this case. and labs arent really races are they.. theres no prize for who finishes first.. well except for getting to leave earlier i guess. next class at 2. ive got to finish my chem lab that was due today since i was heavily involved in a conversation important enough to not watch the 3rd episode of ai yori aoshi enishi which i had finished downloading.. so yeah.. i think its rained every single wednesday for the last month and a half which is kind of strange.. the weather was nice yesterday and ive still been wearing shorts and everything since its still above freezing but i just cant understand how it could still possibly be warmer here than in connecticut. anyway, RITfest was last weekend and that was interesting.. 45 people.. we started late and then had more network problems since the router couldnt keep up with the traffic and ip requests so somone had to go find another router.. we had the router for dhcp and internet and then plugged cisco 1900 series switched they had borrowed from ITS into the router.. anyway after it was all functioning it wasnt too bad. I also won a bag of pretzels. yes pretzels, for 2nd place in the 3v3 halo CTF tournament. got my ass kicked in ut2k3 15 to 0 by the guy who eventually won the tournament since it was 1v1.. and i joined the 'not going to win' team for counterstrike 1.6 and we didnt win lol ended up with a few posters, tons of newegg stickers, a bag of pretzels, etc.. not to bad for $10 although it would have been nice to win that 80gb hard drive... anyway so that RITfest-type events can happen more often and be more organized (since EGS does mostly console stuff) they're trying to gain club status as RITANC (rochester institue of technology association for networked computing) which kind of makes it sound like we're working on clustering computers and distributed computing, not virtually killing people for hours on end. oh well. they can also get more money and stuff and bigger rooms for events if its a club. of course im trying to see if i can help with any techie stuff i can just because i need to do something.. even watching people crimp cables and stuff is difficult i have to be involved somehow. I've applied to 5 jobs, had 3 interviews and been hired for none of them.. my qualifications are decent, i have some work experience.. i dont get it but oh well.. i need a job.. i need money.. well i dont need money but yeah still.. i'd like money since im going to have to pay off all these loans in a few years and i need to get a few things for a certain special person hehe.. cant.. wait.. until.. the.. break.. between.. quarters.. need.. to.. see.. jessie..
