Long Live the Xerox Alto!! that would seriously be the ultimate present of sorts.. or a NeXT.. preferably both.. The Alto is the most Uber-cool thing in the history of the universe.. oh that would be a happy day were I to obtain a working Alto.. having a non working one wouldnt be quite as happy but of course that would really depend on how many working units there are left in existance... but yeah.. it would be even better if someone gave me an Alto when i get married or something.. although if somone does plan to do that it'd be a good idea to tell me only after the wedding or umm i might end up gravitating toward the alto.. dont know where this came from but i was talking to sean about PARC so I had to say something.. PARC will rule for ever and ever! along with the apple II! hehe.. a few people cant understand my need for old technology.. it pains me when they say they throw stuff like that out.. its sad.. really sad.. its one of the few things i could probably actually cry about if i really felt like lol.. that and ai yori aoshi but ai yori aoshi because its just.. so.. happy.. anyway yeah thats kind of off the topic. I wonder how much response I would get if i put up signs saying stuff about accepting old computer stuff (for free).. the problem is as much as i want more stuff and there is a bit of storage space in here now i wouldnt have that much space at home.. but theres soo much cool stuff to get.. i dont have an alpha based system yet so ive been trying to find alpha stuff for cheap.. ive never thought of this before but my girlfriend is more compact and more portable than my computer stuff lol... jessie is the ultimate computer! but she's not obsolete so i cant add her to my collection... maybe i should goto sleep now.. its almost 1 and i have to wake up at 7 for class at 8.. grrr.. ive been making evil evil data tables in word for the lab we're going to do thursday in chemistry. evil because its really really long.... bah..

its 9:21 and some elements of today have already been interesting. ok well one element.. that being the weather.. at around 6 this morning I saw a really bright flash of white light. so i was awoken and drowsily gazed around the room to see what could possibly have been the source of such light. another flash, like a strobe. look toward the window. thunder. another flash. so i attempted sleep again thinking about when the last time i experienced a thunderstorm in the middle of october. then is started hailing for a little while.. it was a pretty interesting storm actually. when i went out to goto chemistry a little before 8 it was mosrtly sunny and almost 70 degrees.. not its more cloudy and i think the temperature actually dropped a bit but its still kind of odd how it is warmer here than in ct. i keep forgetting its not november since i want it to be november so i can see jessie.. jessie jessie jessie jessie jessie jessie.. a few more weeks though i guess..
